I wouldn't even attempt to call as who knows what the charges for that will be. Can see why some would fall for this though as it presses the panic button in us thinking someones taking our money!

Just got a a call from this number saying that they are British gas and asking me for a payment on top of my monthly direct debit payments. Was a very suspicious call and reported it to British Gas direct, who know nothing about it or why they are calling, as I owe no money to them to be making more payments over the phone.... A very aggressive person too, just kept asking for me to pay money over the phone. DO NOT TALK TO THESE - HANG UP AND CALL BRITISH GAS DIRECT TO QUERY IT STRAIGHT AWAY..
