it is a scam
Pre-registered message saying I did tax evasion and there is an arrest warrant on my name, but they knew my name. Asked to press 1 to get more information, I didn't, so they hang up. Checked on HMRC's website and apparently, this is a common scam.

This getting beyond a joke. So far, three times this morning and numerous times yesterday. I ve reached a point where I m swearing at my phone.

Caller said they were carrying out a survey for the government. Wanted to speak to someone senior in the company. That was followed by someone laughing in the background. I put the phone down on them.
It should be a scammer. Called to get my IC and name, claimed to be from RHB bank. After i hung up, i received an incoming call from 03-92878880, but i declined the call. Just be alert.
