Claiming there is a HMRC Tax Fraud claim against my name
0203 769 7565 - My elderly mother advised she had received a scam call, claiming to be Sky and calling her by name. Asian sounding woman (Susan) stated Sky are changing from monthly debit standing order to single annual payment, required upfront. Had numerous calls from this number, tried to call back but was told I had dialled an incorrect number??!!! I thought cold calling was illegal in the u.k?? There should be some way of finding out once and for all who this number belongs too, so that complaints can be made to the right people so that we can stop this kind of harassment !!! How would they feel if I phoned them day /night on their personal number??!! For gods sake , stop this hassle!!!

Claimed to be Katie from Sittingbourne Guttering Services. There is no such company. Claimed to be doing a job in the area next week so could offer a £50 discount to clean all gutters and downpipes. However did not seem to have any idea about this size of the house or the amount of work involved. When I asked which days they could make a long list was reeled off... and yet the discount is because they are in the area.
