Called my mobile and asked for my husband. I said it was my mobile number, not my husband's, then asked who they were, at which point they put the phone down! Incredibly ...

Said it was a call from bt about my internet reporting something about unusual activities on my account, i was not convinced and ended call. They rang back twice more, which i declined to answer

This number kept calling my mobile, but I kept missing speaking with whomever was calling. I actually picked up a call today and a man with a sing-song accent (hard to understand) said he was from the Citizen s Advice Bureau, which I thought highly unlikely. He then went on to ask me if I had had any accidents recently - any trips, falls, car accidents etc etc. Scam merchant - I told him to remove my name from his call sheet and never call again.

Had a call from an Indian chap asking to speak to a woman I ve never heard of so I indulged him to try and find out what he was calling for. He said they were a debt consolidation company so I asked who was financially backing them. He said he couldn t tell me so I advised him that the information should be public knowledge and available from Companies House. Cancel your debit card and get a new one that way they cant keep charging you always research before giving away your details.
