I receive calls from this number on my mobile, home phone and work phone, they purport to be from Lloyds Bank, they ask for your date of birth and postcode, I ask them who they are, and what it is about, they say it is a personnel banking matter, I ask them to tell me more in general terms, they tell me to contact my bank, i tell them I have, I then ask them to stop calling me and remove me from their data base and to write instead . I suspect this is a junk caller as I took the call and spoke to them but they hung up

A Google search suggests that it might be to do with personal alarms, this is the number that calls the people listed as emergency contacts for the person.

This organisation is constantly calling touting for car accident claims and promising being able to claim several thousands of pounds in injury awards. This is inspite of having explained on many occasions that I received no injury. Their sole aim is to encourage people to make fraudulent claims and they in turn pocket fat fees. Such actions only increase motor insurance costs across the country. They should be legally charged with attempted fraud and punished if found guilty.
