A silent call from one of a block of numbers. As fast as one number is blocked another is used. So far 10 different numbers from the block ranging from numbers ending 763 to 776. Regularly getting 2 or 3 a day. If they are from 3 network then Ofcom need to investigate

Automated call from American sounding lady informing me that an overseas surcharge had been made on my Paypal account for £199 - press 1 to pay the surcharge or press 2 to speak to customer service. Put the phone down at this point and blocked the number.
Aparantly a Manchester number who phoned and left no message. On phoning back number permanently engaged. Probably cold-calling others.

I said that it was a cold call and it was his company job not to ask him to call me especially as i am registered with the tps.He knows exactly what he is doing and he knows my right to say no to cold calls. Scammers trying to sell telephone preference services to stop nuisance calls.. They have some of my debit card data and attempted to confirm security numbers on back for security reasons. When I asked them to provide a number I could call them back on, they were unable to provide one. Do not give any information to these people. This is a known scam.
