Marketing for JD Williams. The caller asked me if I was a Mr or a Mrs, which didn t get things off to a good start. Then started arguing with me when I questioned who they were, promised to call back later, even though it was obvious that I didn t want that (it felt more like a threat than a nicety) and put the phone down on me when I was in the middle of trying to explain that the person they were trying to speak to didn t live at my house anymore. Appears to be an auto-dialler. Read reports ranging from PPI to banking scam. Didn t answer and no voicemail left.

PpI calling most days annoying

Very rude, aggressive and annoying callers. Similar to most comments above. They ve hung up on me twice now when I ask them what they want. I run my own photography business and they seem to be trying to sell advertising. It seems to be an Oxfordshire number, with very strong Indian and sometimes west African accents. Block and don t trust these people.

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

Odd looking number. Phoned me Saturday morning on my landline, before 9 am. London area code. Didn t leave a message. I am ex directory, and also with TPS.

Wanted to check my name and postcode. would not say who they were. Told them to go away.

I don`t care who they are - this is a private line so go away - I have not answered a landline call for 5 years now and NEVER leave my mobile number with shops or businesses for ANY reason - email is good enough.
