This claims to be from amazon,now called twice.Asks you to press 1 etc possible scam as Amazon have never asked anything via phone always via my account
Using 1471, this number came up as being used by someone trying a scam by pretending to be Amazon saying a person in Devon had tried to buy a £300 phone using my Amazon account (which they have NOT). Seeing this is a respected solicitor I cannot see how this number was used - I did check it 3 times using 1471 to be sure!

+1-866 format is a North American toll-free number. Probably unwise to try it, nonetheless.

Automated call stating that my National Insurance number had been used in crime and that I should press 1 to speak to A NCA (Not NCIS -SIC) call handler
