Someone (female) rang my mobile, saying that I was entitled to a phone / contract update... Probably trying some scam.... And clearly not from my real phone supplier (Orange)....

this number calls 2 to 3 times a day.they said they from rspca asking for money an want you to give them money every month.

Another one that rings 4 times a week asking for a lisa jackson from pre a debt collection place does my head in and they use other numbers as well not just this one sad loosers...

This number is the planning and enviroment department at rochford council

have been getting these calls regularly, once daily for several weeks. I usually ignore the call when my caller display shows this number. Last week I rang 1471 for the hell of it and got a recorded message -your wine club tried to contact you. I am actually a Laithwaites member and use them when I want to order wine. These calls seem to be part of a wider push to bring in more sales. However the recorded message also gives you an other number to ring if you wish not to receive further calls. This is 0800 6

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. I had letters and calls from Taurus which I stupidly ignored. I was taken to Court and at the hearing a hearing a gentleman advised me to discuss debt issues. He said Taurus Debt Recovery have a lot of account holders on benefits and they have a friendly and supportive team. I would encourage anyone with debts with them to talk to Taurus. If you don t contact them they will issue court claims and or issue bankruptcy.

Reading above it appears to be Oxfam, well I was trying to put up a light at home and had to stop because of the phone call, i answered the phone and the person put the phone down, thanks for wasting my time Oxfam.

They seem to get numbers and call them, unsure where they get their private numbers from and the information or not on who may answer.
