They ve been trying to call me once a day for a week but I don t answer unknown numbers. It becomes irritating though. I guess they hope to break your curiosity eventually.

Picked up the phone and waited, then got what sounded like a recorded voice saying "Hello, how are you?" Ignored it and left the phone off the hook until it disconnected.

Silent call. Called and no message left so assume it is a scam

They should not be doing this! There are a few things that you can do to stop them making calls to you in the future, and help to stop them making calls to others. You can register your landline or mobile number for free with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) - an industry body that gives customers the option to outline what kind of calls they are willing to take (opt in) and those they are not willing to accept (opt out). I have had a few calls from these but i never answer 08 numbers because 9 times out of ten they are dodgy and probably charge you for answering. I would love to know how they get your number. I have blocked this number from calling me again.

Scam call (automated) saying that there was illegal activity on my broadband and that I was going to be disconnected if I did not connect with their technical support.

Car phone ware house. Offering to upgrade phone, very unhappy that I didn t want to do so.

Just had a call from this number today. I said I would get the person they were asking for. I put my phone next to my stereo speaker and left the caller listening to scooter on full volume for 4 minutes! Lol. Sorted! Sick and tired of these calls.
