Better watch out scammers/spies I m coming for you!!!
Called by this number - tried to call back and received the automatic reple that I had dialled an incorrect number
SCAM - A guy called Peter claiming to be from BT called.
Unusual that all the positive comments above are from the same day - two just minutes apart... This number just rang me and hung up before I could answer, no message. Typical telemarketing know doubt.
SCAM – They claim to be from peoples postcode lottery, which my dad is a member of, saying he had won a free discount card. Wanted bank details to confirm the prize. They were actually calling on behalf of Supercard Black and he had “won” a postcode lottery but they set up a £200 direct debit for a trial that had to be cancelled within 14 days. No fees were clearly mentioned. Looking at TrustPilot for Supercard Black it seems this is a trick that they like to play and are happy to defend.

Who called me?
Man called with an India/Pakistan accent, claiming they were British Gas and before they could proceed further they needed to confirm my details. I said "You ve got my number and name, you called me, so you can tell me what information you have, and I ll confirm whether you have the right person or not!!!!" He then said "Sir, we need to confirm who we are calling, before we can say the information". I said "You called my mobile. A mobile phone is very rarely given out as a shared number, so tell me what
Fraud - suggests someone has hacked into my internet and will be down for 6 days and as my internet provider they need to resolve etc.... They aren't my internet provider so this was a red flag, secondly no security check to ensure they are speaking with the account holder, third he asked me to trust him! Keep away but by all means have an entertaining conversation to challenge the approach if you so wish.
