SCAM - I received a text message to say that I am owed a tax refund from HMRC and to click on a link to verify personal information, this is a scam. HMRC will never text, they will only contact you in writing so be aware!
Called from 0113 113 2840 by an Asian sounding man. Said that he was calling from PC Support about problems with my computer. When challenged, he hung up. Definitely up to no good; don t provide any information!

They called landline, I didn't answer and neither did they so unsure where they are from or which company it is.
Brief silence, then a male shouted something at me in a language I didn't recognise before hanging up. No details of what the call was about, but obviously a SCAM of some kind. Number is Exeter, UK area code; but assigned to Firstsound Ltd based in Braintree, Essex Firstsound Ltd is not obviously a VOIP supplier, and seems to have very little actual presence for an 'Active' company. Seems like a scam. I tried to call back and received a message referring me to look online due to a high volume of calls but it didn't say which organisation/company it was.
keep calling ! nobody talks and goes dead after a few seconds. very annoying as i work abroad and it costs me money !

I ve had the number blocked for over 5 years but still they keep trying to contact me. Their sales rep who visited my home was a cretin and if he was their "top salesperson" as their rep claimed then there is no way on earth I d buy anything from them. Now going down the root of a solicitor s letter to see if they get the message at last!
