Call came in. Didn?t recognise 01263 as Cromer and unusually iPhone just reported ?United Kingdom?. Turns out 01263 12xxxx is not even assigned to any telecom firm so clearly bogus CLI. Anyway it was a recorded female saying they had been informed of my ?accident?, then a Indian sounding gentleman came on and asked about the ?accident?. I knew then it was a scam so played along, I said I did have an accident but it is being delt with by the police. At this point he promptly rung off LOL.
This number is unallocated. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. Block the number on your phone. For a mobile, refer to the manufacture...

Survey company that I said I wasn t interested in. They still keep calling though at random times, the latest being gone 10pm. Overall 1 or 2 calls a day for the past 3 weeks.

This is a number for HMRC (VAT?) Debt Management in Cumbernauld - but VERY difficult to get through to! If you find it impossible try 01313465906 - but depending on who you get to answer, the Edin ofice will either take your query or if you get one of the stroppy ones they ll just tell you you must keep trying Cumbernauld - and it s YOUR responsiblity (fault?) if you can t get through.
