Just had this number call (Liverpool code, with non-geographical sub-code 808) - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will now be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. This explains the silent treatment from any real person (low-lifeform) at the other end. Let the phone ring until the other end gets fed up and ends the call, then dial 1471 and note down the number. SCAM Claimed she was "'Yennifer' from 'Wirgin' media technical department"! Woman had very 'thick' 'Indian'-style accent. She said "oh, oh, oh," when I said I was busy & I would ring Virgin later. She'd done the "How are you this morning?", like a lot of the phone scams do. Nothing was said about security questions! Suspect this was another scam call.

I’ve just had a call from this number which was automated and informed me that a transaction of £900 had been spent on my Visa Credit Card and to press 1 to enquire about it. This is a scam as I don’t have a Visa Credit Card so everyone please be aware of this number .

Caller named knew my name and my insurance company. He said he represented them which I don t believe. He said I had an accident on a certain date and he was calling in regards to nuisance calls. I didn t report any nuisance calls. I told him I didn t want to speak because his call sounded supsicious. Don t answer this number.
