1471 gave this number as the one supposedly from which I was called to day. I see others have searched it but no comments left. However the number ending but ending 761 rather than 751 is reported on this site as being the "we ll fix your computer" type. Having recently received such a call from another supposed Glasgow number (but told they were located in Westminster, London), I would avoid.

Another silent call from 01462439895. Now reported to OFCOM as silent/abandoned call in breach of OFCOM rules. Also now logged with BT as spam caller and blocked with BT call protect in view of comments on the internet. I am not an ee customer and I do NOT want marketing calls from ee or its "partners"!
Fraud
This number has appeared daily sometimes three times an hour for the last month. As a rule we don t answer numbers we don t know and have a called display unit which helps. If as said in another message this company buy expired debts and then chase them up, isn t that breaking the law in its self? Especially as the numbers they are calling are probably nothing to do with the original debt! This appears to me to be harassment on a grand scale. I hope the law changes to prevent this from happening.
