NGP - they called and we have a good relationship with them now. They are the UK's biggest consultancy energy broker with over 20,000 UK customers. They don't just sell energy, they actually ensure that my business is not being ripped off by the energy suppliers. Check out their website for the great Community work they have been doing especially in the North East. They saved Alnwick Gardens 14,000 GBP per annum by analyzing their energy consumption.

caller purports to be calling from microsoft and wants remote control of my computer saying i have been hacked for identity id and my details being used for illegal betting etc .rang microsoft who said this is a scam as they would not make such a call

SCAM said they were calling from Barclays Fraud Team regarding two transactions on my card of £300 to Amazon and £1100 to Western Union. Then wanted my full name, address, sort code and account numbers.
kept asking for someone who does not live at my house and when i advised them of that, they kept talking to me as if i was that person.
Asked whether this was my main phone line. I responded by asking them what their business was and what that had to do with it. They hung up straight away. Reported to ICO. Using a Nottingham phone code threw me off at first.
