Out of interest I told the Asian girl who called last month I had a bad back. within a week a lady from Bath Knight based in Stoke called about walk-in bathing. Say and Save called 6 times yesterday. My advice is if you wait more than 2 seconds after saying hello, put the phone down as it s almost certainly a marketing call from India. "

A woman asked for me by my first name. I asked who was calling. She said SKY. I said no thankyou i've had these scam phone calls before. She said errrm ok and rang off

They were holding a payment of £800 (and something) pounds which was a suspicious payment on a gambling site in America. I was told to press 1 if this wasn't me and to be connected to the fraud team.
Obviously I just hung up, searched the number which didn't come up with anything, I checked my bank accounts and rang the bank's fraud number.
As I thought, it was a scam.

Called me at 4:50pm. Male with non-English accent started to speak. Sounds of voices (office) in background. I asked him what the time was where he was. He laughed. I asked again. He said he was in Winchester and it was 4pm: Wrong. I asked him to look out of a window and asses his life choices
Answered to an automated voice machine saying my name but pronounced it wrong. Pressed the option to speak to an agent. The guy did not jntroduced himself and went straight to asking for my card details. Asked them on why did they call my number in the first place, their response was to ring the number at the back of my card for any issues. Lol

Claiming to be citizens advice which unless you've called them which i havnt they dont call you. Hung up and blocked.
