Rang to confirm our company details, email addresses, Director names etc & then said at the end of it would we be happy for them to supply our details to third party marketing I said no, we get enough spam via email, so please take off what you have just confirmed. She started quoting the new laws coming in for data protection, (yes, please remove us so that our details are not sold by you to spamming marketing companies)! She put the phone down on me!
SCAM call from a company called Clearwater about renewing insurance cover which we don't have. When I refused they said Head Office would be informed.
Wanted to urgently talk with me about my non existent accident claim with them. BLOCKED!
Trying to sell alternative to BT, would not accept no!
Automated call: 02083086237 rang my landline number today. It wasn't a number I recognised. I picked up the receiver but did not speak. The automated call rang off after a couple of seconds. I would suggest that if you receive a call from this number, you don't answer it. If it is from someone genuine, they will leave a message on your answerphone.
Fraud
Crystal legal and something. Did a PPI claim for me a while ago. (I am pretty sure I did my own but I might have enquired through them as well I honestly cannot remember) Now want to mine for information about mis-sold mortgages and also give quotes for comparison on buildings and contents insurance. Asked several times for them to remove my number the man was quite polite but persistent in trying to get me to talk about my mortgage and current insurance. I eventually terminated the call.

SCAM - Supposedly Amazon saying I ve ordered an iPhone for £700+. I haven t. A sneaky one as this dialling code is my local area - Carlisle nBlocked it.
