I was called from 01733385646 and because I come from Peterborough I answered it. It was an automated voice stating that there had been a number of charges made against a card, going on to say that one was for Amazon. They were so obviously not from any bank as they did not say which bank, card, etc., Therefore I just put the phone down. When I tried to call the number back it went dead as if not recognised. Thus I conclude that this could be a scam!
SCAM / SPAM Says he was from Sky. But i don't believe him, he said my router was sending out an error signal and he needed a number, not sure what number as i couldnt understand him that well.
SCAM pretending to be Amazon, ringing about Prime subscription (which I don't have).

Calling from the economist about a 12 pounds 12 issues offer. The guy sounded like a robot or using a voice altering device which made the call sounded VERY dodgy

Received text message claiming to be from HSBC about a new online payee successfully set up; if this wasn't me to click on a link. As I don't have an HSBC bank account, this can't be genuine.
Automated voice telling me I was being investigated for tax fraud and if didn't press 1, a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested.
