I was called today 23/12/2014 at approx. 19.15 on my landline by this number 01332271497 on answering the phone there was no voice or sound so I replaced the receiver

SCAMRecorded lady saying that my Amazon Prime account will be charged with £99.99 to renew, unless I press 9 on my keypad. I don't have such an account so I rang off from what is obviously a scam call. / SPAM
SCAM. Claims to be notification of HMRC fraud investigation. Hang up. Linked to an earlier call from 01274424585.

Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
