SPAM - this is one of the many other calls i've been receiving everyday that it was silent when you pick up and then got cut off after 1 sec. they don't just ring once, but twice.

It s a strange company that calls you on your mobile but lets it ring just once before hanging up. Same scenario with calls from 01458 274626 (same company). I happen to have bought ink cartridges from IJT Direct, and regularly receive unsolicited/marketing emails from them. Not about to use them again.
These guys are Social Engineering Hackers. They will try to get you to install software on your computer to help you fix a problem you don t have. Once installed, they will have control of your computer. You will likely have to re-install your entire Operating System to ensure they don t leave anything (back doors, keyloggers, ransom ware, etc) behind when they log out.

Scam. Only got last 20 secs of call as it went to answerphone, but it asked for confirmation of charges to Amazon and Moneytransfer, neither of which I've used! Also an option to speak to "Fraud Team" Do not reply to this con. If you have any reason to believe it's true, contact your bank (etc) either by visiting the branch or at least use email/web address that you know is correct, not supplied by this means. After a bit of sleuthing I ve found out that this number belongs to Verso Group, a telemarketing company. You can request to have your number removed from their database via [email?protected] or by calling their customer complaints team on 01582 763 090.
