Don’t waste your breath talking to these people. Put the phone down on them immediately or if you are so minded, just tell them to **** off . . . they’ll get the idea.
Rang my landline, they knew my name and said they were the "National Hearing Centre". I just kept saying "Pardon, could you repeat that" to everything they said and they very soon got impatient and hung up.

Fraud. Claimed to be from DWP saying my National Insurance number was suspended due to fraud. This call was in-fact a load of rubbish, don't fall for it.

Fraud Received a call for numbers 07741 597 541 and 07741 457 942. The pre-recorded message asking to act immediately as my National insurance is about to be suspended and to press on to link with caller. Didn't say who the call was for, I hung up regardless. Clearly somebody hoping to scam me.
