Tried to claim I had an outstanding vehicle tax refund from an overpayment, followed by a request to visit a "secure" link. I do not own a vehicle regarding a tax payment and when I tried to reply about the matter it failed. Usually (if it is an official company) it displays the company's name, but this was just some random number's message acting as though I knew exactly what the subject was about. Offered 25% return each month on investment opportunity... needed my personal details and they could transfer me to the right advisor. Asked why are they telling me about such great returns instead of investing themselves. Challenged them on the call being a scam and they hung up.

Tax fraud apparently hmrc.
Electronic voice warned me that my TalkTalk internet would be disconected this evening and gave me the option to either press 1 to keep it or 2 to disconnect. Goodness knows what would have happened if I had pressed either number. I logged in to TalkTalk and of course there was no mention of a disconnection.
