Purporting to be from HMRC telling me of tax refund of ?921.43 if I email http://ow.ly/ZRoa7 - this is a blatant scam as HMRC neither email nor contact mobile or landline telephone numbers for tax refunds or demands!

SCAM - Machine talking on the line when you pick up. Claims to be calling form HMRC and that they spotted fraudulent activities on your tax account and you need to press 1 in order to talk to their next available agent. It says if you don't press 1 you will be arrested shortly. After pressing 1 music starts playing and every now and then a machine advises that "your call is very important to them" and your call will be transferred to the next available agent, please stay on the line. disco
