I attended interview with Irish water on April 2023. I got a call verified my name and disconnected. With Google, I found the landline number belong to Irish Water Leeds office.

This caller left a recorded message to say "to find out more about this case before we proceed to legal action press 1". If you press 1 you just get a repeat of the message. For the elderly like me this is quite frightening.
They call, but don't leave a message...
Scam automated voice call telling me it was HM Customs & I was wanted for…at that point I cut off the call and blocked their number.
Clearly fraudsters trying to get money on basis of '' your bank / credit card has been used for a non authorised payment of £1100'' and encouragement to press option 1 to resolve the issue.
