Called himself James Barker, from a company Called Blackfords. Knew my personal e-mail address and my work phone number, knew I subscribed to Money week. Tells me he is trying to sell corporate bonds.
The send you a text stating that there is an issue with your last Three mobile payment. My 17 year old daughter clicked on the link and 'Updated' her details. A couple of hours later her bank rang her to say she had attempted to purchase car tyres to the value of £650.00 luckily, she only had about £10 in her account at the time. Still very inconvenient having to have her account cancelled and to wait for a new card to be issued.

called me a couple of times last week, i missed calls. i called them back and it seems to be some ppi scam
SCAM: A caller from this number asked me to give him the "discount code" he was sending from O2 to take advantage of the 30% discount they were offering account holders to stop them moving to other suppliers during COVID. O2's anti-fraud texts came through with a convenient reminder not to give out any codes to cold callers.
Had several missed calls last week. When i answered i asked for them to remove me from their data base he was polite and said yes. Come back to them now leaving me silent voice ...
