Guy with Asian sounding accent phone today saying he was from BT and that my internet would be down for a couple of days due to the fact that someone was using my internet connection illegally. When I asked him to prove he was from BT by giving me my home address, he said he would not be able to give any personal details over the phone. I suspected it was a scam and asked for a number I could call him back on. He gave me the number 0800 800 152 but when I dialled 1471, the number came up as 0208 777 5555. S
In computer voice call women said someone had fraudulently used my visa for £600.00 recently. I put the phone down. nI don t have a visa card.

This number called me, I didn t answer but tried to check online who it might be but was unsuccessful. I rang back the number back, it went to voicemail "Jason here, can t come to the phone blah blah. . . leave a message . I did not leave a message but rang back again & a woman answered Hi this is Andrea from Play Lottery how can I help you . I checked all the contact numbers on the Lottery website & this isn t one of them!! Does anyone know what authority to report this obvious fraudulent number to?
Just had a call from this number wanting to know about my lifestyle. When I declined saying please don t ring again the Asian gentlemen said No No No as if he wanted to tell me something. I just hung up.
Fraud - automated message claims to be from HMRC with a criminal case pending against me
Scammers pretending to be a consultancy company phishing for information concerning "loosing money on the internet". Obviously a call center by the background noise of multiple people talking on the phone.
