I was called on my mobile just now about claims and loans. I have never had and never will have a loan. I have also been getting several phone calls a day on my ex-directory phone number around tea time from an indian man recently asking me and my mum about claiming money back. We are not due any money and will not hand out our bank details and are sick of these calls.
Had a call this morning stating that they had received error messages from my computer, when asked gave the phone number 2036428030 - this traces to a landline in Norwalk USA, but address refused by the caller. I have also had calls from persons stating they are from the same company but with a phone no 02032398739 strangely with an address in Luton. Both numbers I m sure are scammers.
Says my TSB account, quoting last 4 digits, is being charged for large amount at a high street store. Not with TSB. Called Christmas Day too..

Called about a motorcycle accident only 6 days ago (about which I'd only spoken to insurance company) - their info was several days old and when I asked who they were and why they were contacting me they asked why I was being rude and then hung up! - all the signs of a dodgy '3rd party claims vulture' if you ask me!!

Caller s English not brilliant. I had trouble understanding her (and vice versa). Wanted to send out a ?50 Tesco or Waitrose voucher to me once she confirmed my name and address. Told her I don t give details over the phone to people I don t know. She rang off.
Asked about a car accident - haven't has one so must be purely speculative. Claimed to be 'First Source Contact' but wouldn't engage in any further enquiry.
