I always get a call from this type of numbers where a machine will be talking rather than a being. It disturbs me a lot.
Took a couple of calls from these guys about 2 different main contractor projects. Decided to listen and they took me onto both project documents, one was too big for us but the other was just over their £50,000 banding and was local so we asked to price the work. so far these scammers have phoned me 4 days in a row, 6 on day 1, 3 times day 2, twice yesterday and so far twice today.. When they actually do speak or you hear something.. its either a recording telling you your about to be disconnected from BT and press 1 to connect to bt.. premium rate number.. or you get a indian claiming to be from bt, or they just keep saying hello before putting the phone down.

SCAM I have had three calls from this number today, and at least that number over the last few weeks. It purports to be from amazon, and opens by congratulating me on my amazon purchase. It goes on to say " if you did not make this purchase.......". I cannot say what the remainder of the message is, because at that juncture I terminate the call. The offending number is 07388730907; it is registered in the Russian Federation, and I can think only that it is an attempted scam.
