Landline call asking how I was like they knew me ,l said l didn't know who it was and they must have dialled a.wrong number. I hung up and then left the receiver off I only have a landline because of an alarm system. I use mobile.

I had the same text from the number mentioned, preceeded by a text from Natwest saying there was potentially fraudulent activity on my account - I ignored it, and then my phone rang and a recorded message claiming to be NatWest told me to call the number calling me (08453560020)...I decided to ignore this too. At the end of the end ,whether you are a British Gas customer or not , if you have not given British Gas your permission to call you , then it is a harrassment call. The other thing to bear in mind is , unless you make the call , how do you really know who it is who has called you? I am a British Gas customer , but as far as I am aware have never given them my telephone number , so beware !!

This appears to be a fax machine which has got my number and all I get is repeated attemps to send me a fax. This happens regularly as the fax is on auto send. Is it possible to tell the company?? They may need to reprogramme their machine to get the messages to the correct destination.

Keep getting calls from this number aswell, at least 2-3 calls most days. Answer it and no one there or just says hello and then hangs up!
This company was originally using a landline number. They are now calling people from a bogus mobile number which shows up as 07463 804966. They are not legitimate and seeking additional info about you. When you call the mobile number back a recording says that the number is not recognised. Hang up or block them, but do not confirm your name or address as they ask you to do.
