Definitely a con. Claiming to be operating for Amazon and checking on a card spend of over £1000. We very rarely use Amazon. We did not engage with this automated service.

The number 0161 765 7567 came in as an International call answered and hung up immediately.
SCAM - Called before 8am, very rude. Selling finance products and asking to set up account, very fishy.
a lovely businessman from Manchester, he helped me a lot in establishing my own business, forever grateful. thank you (G).
SCAM Called our business stating Visa Verification services and we had 2 transactions one for Amazon for £300.00 and 1 for Western Union for £1100.00 then asked me to press 1. Be careful out there and put the phone down and report the number.
Unrequested follow up call from British Gas. Ended up knocking a few pounds of my Homecare:)

Contacted via WhatsAPP, a certain Violet that works as a "Shareholder and part-time financial manager of a clothing company", does not ask for any information, poor English in text
Say they're Carphone Warehouse. Trying to sell a phone contract. Didn't know my name. Had similar call a few days previously from a different number.
Fraud call came in from the number 07951 799 817 they spoke with an Indian accent and claimed to be calling from Microsoft Service. We had been hacked, and it was our duty to Microsoft to allow them access to our PC. When we told them that what poof did we have that we'd been hacked, they got very aggressive and said that it was done to us if we didn't believe them and that it would on our own heads if we lost our money as a result of being hacked. So we put the phone down on them.
