Frequent incoming calls from this number. Cuts off when answerphone triggered. Classic scam activity. Nuisance at least but probably worse i.e. unsafe

Claimed to be from a local enery saving firm, when I questioned the phone number on my display not being local he admitted to calling from the other end of the country. If someone starts a call with a lie it doesn't bode well. Ended the call and blocked the number.
Never call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number masked by a spoofed number which could be a very expensive call.
An Indian man purporting to be from Virgin Media wanting to discuss how I could make my broadband speed faster, as it had fallen off. I told him that I was too wise to be caught...
