BT will never call you. ANY call about your computer, router or the internet will ALWAYS be a scam. NEVER let anyone connect to your computer as they will steal your personal...

caller purports to be calling from microsoft and wants remote control of my computer saying i have been hacked for identity id and my details being used for illegal betting etc .rang microsoft who said this is a scam as they would not make such a call

The number is similar to others that have been pestering me recently so I knew it was the Talk Talk fakers at work still. Last week I got three such calls in one day, so now I answer in a loud voice which seems to upset them, after which I wait until they mention "Talk Talk" before hanging up. they have been calling me for two weeks, never leave a message,. Tossers, probably a scam from energy company in Ipswich.

I received a call from thus number and tried to call them back but got a dead tone. Next day someone called and gave me the "sell" told him to email me the details, unfortunately I had fallen in this trap a couple of years ago with a similar sounding company and never received a single booking.

You will receive irritating phone calls 3-4 times/day from this number. You will hear a computer based recorded message..

Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!
