Potential scam

didn't answer phone flags it as potential fraud and reports the number. Get the same call every few weeks, normally some foreign person telling me about how I can get home repairs from the government. Told them last time I lived in a tent, and they put the phone down on me. Don't answer.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO

Most probably a scam call purportedly from inland revenue.

Tried to convince me that they were from Sky and that my Internet speed wasn't appropriate. Then told me to download and app which gives them remote access to me phone. When I refused they told me I needed to pay them for the service they have just given me. Nice try!

Bank Scam A recording of a female robotic voice with an American accent told me that 2 transactions has been made on my card that were potentially fraudulent The recording went on to tell me the transaction details and told me to press 1 to authorise them or press 2 to speak to someone

Indian female, claiming to be from O2. I hung up without saying anything. Been getting calls every day from this supposed Bournemouth number. These scammers have obviously obtained a batch of similar numbers, as yesterday it was from 01202080470. These calls have been coming in coincidental to me using for the first time, a free photo printing service called 'FreePrints' where you pay just for the postage. I could be wrong, but it is highly suspicious, as I never usually get spam calls.

Have received 3 calls recently, each one is a prerecorded American voice telling me I'm being investigated for DHSS fraud. They inform me that paperwork has been sent to me which I have returned to them unanswered and I must answer the phone call they have made, which I have not done. Now this is a total scam. Called to say as I had not claimed under my boiler insurance my premiums were being reduced. As I don’t have my boiler insured presume this is a scam.

SCAM Recorded voice saying that my bank account had been requested to pay Amazon £700 and some other organisation £2000!! Press 1 to authorise, and 2 to speak to a customer representative. I declined both options and checked my account online to find, surprise, surprise, there were no such transactions.

This number claimed to be from BT. The person said I may have a technical error in my broadband router. I disputed it and I asked the person to give me their number so I could call them back. I was told I could Google it and when I said I was not going to Google it and I asked again for their number the line went dead.

SCAM!! A female with an Asian accent. Asked to speak to Mr XXXX (if you are going to scam someone at least get their gender right). Asking if I could secure whether I had any unsecured debt. I had a bit of spare time so I turned the conversation upside down and started grilling her. She allegedly got my details from GRS which she said was a government agency. SCAM / FRAUD asking for visa and said money and been removed from account

03726945413 Claiming to be from SKY asking if We’d shared our router information with anyone else (as we use NOW TV which is part of SKY I listened) and then they asked me how many lights were flashing on my router ( there was one light flashing and this made me suspicious so I hung up). It may be nothing but better to be safe.
