This number called me today - I did not answer, as my phone is a brand new smartphone with a brand new number, I just bought it, and I have not given this number to anyone yet, or even used it to make any calls! Obviously this must be someone just phoning random numbers. I did a check on Google to see if they could tell me who the number calling me belongs to, and found that it is some telemarketing scammers who call numbers at random, as I suspected. I have now installed "TRUECALLER" on this new phone, and

Asian lady claimed to be from British Telecom wanted me to give over personal details in order for my line to be blocked from tele-marketing calls. When I did not co operate she quickly hung up.
