SCAM - Call supposedly from HMRC stating that there is a tax fraud case and unless I answer their questions, immediate arrest warrant would be sent
Gent. ("Spike" but sounded foreign) from Benefits UK said he wanted to ask some questions. I was expecting a call and needed to keep the line free. He hung up while I was politely explaining this, so I think the call is suspect!
Threatening
SCAM call, automated voice thanking me for renewing my Amazon subscription for £79.99 and if it is not me to choose option 1 to stop the payment. This is not Amazon and the payment is clearly incorrect to hurry you to choose option 1. Hang up and report the number to the authorities.
