SCAM / SPAM A pre-recorded voice announces the call is from HMRC and that they detected a fraud and tell you to press a number on your phone, if you don't you'll face prosecution an a mandate to take you to prison would be issued immediately.

SCAM. I've had a text on my mobile, purporting to be from Iceland (Frozen food shop) saying that my 'order' is being delivered between 11am and 1pm. but that they've had to make changes, and I should check my emails to see details. Obviously, there is NOTHING in my emails. I have NOT made an order. I do not shop online. Minutes later, I received another text from them, with a different delivery time, and this time, a phone number. I'm not calling the number. I've never had any scams on my mobile before.

When you ring back they have a message stating that the call was from the "Energy Advice Centre" and isn t urgent and they will ring you back. Clearly a sales call for solar panels

had exactly the same call threatening legal action... when i called back I was asked for my name and national insurance number....just hung up!
receive these calls a couple of times a day....completely fed up of them.!! say they ringing from a hearing clinic
