Credit card/bank account scam. Recorded message stated unusually high values transactions had occurred. Did a quick online check of my accounts and there were no such transactions.
Fraud - Amazon-type fraud, 'we have blocked a suspicious transaction'.
Hung up when I answered
Silent call - This number tried to silent call me but thankfully didn’t answer. Not sure who owns this number but it’s likely a scam.

SCAM tried to sell a data plan was a strange phone call
Claimed to be Visa ringing about fraudulent transactions on my account. First warning sign - Didn't know who I was. They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc

Call today supposed to be from BT telling me my IP address was public and hey would make it private. 2 men in what sounded like a room full of people spoke to me. I sked where the were calling from and they gave me an actual BT address in London. I asked the guy if he was Indian and yes he was. I told him the 1st person I spoke with was India too. I asked him if this was a scam. I then heard someone say drop the connection. So looks like a scam to me.
Scam claiming to be from Currys. They only had my telephone no name total Phil?
Scam call left ansaphone message claiming huge payments on credit card, and wanting call back
probably spam call, unsolicited and immediately dropped when answered by me. Now blocked.
