This is a phone box within one of the wings and/or office at HMP Manchester, formerly Strangeways. It s either someone you know calling or someone from the prison calling for authority to add someone you know to their authorised list of numbers they can call.

Automated call to tell me my "landline and internet were going to be disconnected due to suspicious activity on the network, press 1 to speak to an operative". A quick call to my isp confirmed they have no intention of disconnect anything. DO NOT PRESS 1, or anything else. It is a scam.
It rang, I picked up, they rung up.
We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.
