I told her Virgin had already informed me they would be carrying out essential works on the network in my area which could interrupt my services (which they are). She was most persistent, and I hung up. had a call back from the number but they left no message

Scam pretending to be Amazon
Recieved phonecall from 01702311311 today claiming that some fraudulent transactions had been made using my bank card, one being from Amazon worth £100 & another from an international transaction worth over £1000. I recieved exactly the same phonecall the day before from a different number. I know these not to be true because they never say which bank they are from and never say which card it is from. Just to be safe I will let my Bank know about this so they can keep a check for me.
