Called me at 10:35am 18/02/20 Silent for five seconds and then automated voice simply says "goodbye" before hanging up. Likely an autodial information gathering service that validates your number as genuine and active.

Silence when I picked up. Eventually an Asian guy asked if he was talking to my Dad. Told them he couldn t come to the phone (he s ill), and asked who they were. Silence. I have zero tolerance for that so told them to talk to me or get off the phone. Silence. Called about loft insulation. Said if was not a “selling” call it was a survey carried out to see if insulation was to standard. Then went on to say she Kew it was not to current standards but still denied it was a sales call. When I asked her to cut to the chase and not blindly following a script. She became abusive said I was a clever dick if I could see down the phone at what she was doing then she swore at me and hung up. Nice.
