This number phoned me and the line went dead when I picked the phone up ?
SCAM Number called claiming to be HMRC and to press 1 to speak to an advisor or be arrested? obviously HMRC would never call and threaten to arrest you...and also HMRC would write to you multiple times before making a threating call...id advise to hang up and call HMRC directly if your concerned please don't press 1 to speak to a fraudster!

23 Nov 2021 - Silence at first, then a click and background call centre noise. An Asian person then said "Hello Maam, it's "Jacks from Carphone Warehouse. How are you today?" I said I wasn't interested and put the phone down, as I haven't had any dealings with Carphone Warehouse. I also suspect this isn't really Carphone Warehouse!Reply
