SCAM!! Leasing Airbnb properties (advertised on FB marketplace) that do not exist!! Cleverly they've linked their web page up to Airbnb's page so when you look for support, it will take you to the legit page, but the booking page is a complete scam! It'll reject your payment when you confirm your booking and offer you the option to do a wire transfer. The scammer will give you "Airbnb's bank details" (confirmed by an agent, Airbnb do NOT have a bank account) to place your deposit into.
I have now had 3 calls from this "company" today asking for my 81 year old mother. I can t understand a WORD they say so she won t!! I won t be nice anymore, that s for sure!! We re on the TPS but it doesn t seem to make a blind bit of difference!
