He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Fraud. Claims to be PayPal but answered by Indian call center. Asked them what my paypal email address was and they hung up. Kept calling them and asking if they knew that what they were doing was fraud/illegal.

SCAM claimed to be from Domestic and General, knew my name and address and what was insured. They said it had expired, it is continuous so I questioned it and I was passed to Supervisor who wanted me to get my debit card. I hung up. It was a call centre, both Asian accents. SCAM HANG UP

Yet another bank fraud call I am so sick of these calls. I sometimes act dumb and lead them on with false information then block them I am getting 5/6 calls a day from different numbers

The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.
