I put in an order with John Lewis last week and then the calls began.When you pick up the phone to answer the line goes dead.Call received 9.20am on a Sunday morning.
They ve tried a couple of times but never any on the line when you pick up

Claimed to be from HMRC investigating tax fraud. If I didn't press 1, I would be arrested.

Buy Bt 8500 this phone has true call only numbers in your contact list ring your , phone. Since buying this phone I have had no, Zero rubbish calls. The phone lists the numbers that have tried to get through but if they are not in your contact list your phone won t ring. Brilliant. A well spent £40 or £49 for two handsets. This is not an advert it really works.
the number was apparently Tax ,if I didnt ring them back I would be liable to arrest ,
Threatening to arrest me and stop my National insurance number as been some criminal activity. Presumably trying to get n i number???
