This is fraud. A message on my answer machine said they were from my bank and two large transactions were coming off my account. A quick check of my banking app proved this to be nonsense.

Have phoned a number of times but never left a message. Usually only rings for a second or two.
This number called SEVEN times in all yesterday, twice day before and 3 times (so far today. I ve contacted BT, ICO, OfCom, Action Fraud and next it will be the police. DO NOT ANSWER this call. They are 100000000% scammers. If you fall for this you have a virus on your computer scam, you will be allowing the caller to access all information on your pc including passwords to your bank accounts, email accounts and much, much more.
