Strange call saying my NI number has been compromised. Didn’t quite catch everything the recorded voice said before I was asked to select and press a number to get advice on what to do. I didn’t do this but ended the call. I strongly suspect that this wouldn’t be the way I’d be contacted to inform me of a problem with my NI number. Can’t obviously say for sure who called but seems very suspicious

They rang and left a message on machine at 8.34 am searching for Ex partners son. He s been on the fiddle with mobile phone contracts using my address and phone number. I rang em back at 7.40 pm and straight through to Emma who dealt with situation in a professional manner and ensured my details would be removed and updated as we spoke with information I gave her. Prompt to answer, Emma was efficient, professional and amiable to communicate with. I looked up the number on here and told her what

Caller said they were from "Microsoft Corporation". They asked for information about my computer, telling me that they knew there was a problem. I kept them talking by asking questions. The caller got angrier and told me that they would be "seeing me tomorrow" before ringing off.
