When I tried phoning the number back, it said number not recognised?!
Ordered a dishwasher from boots appliances Monday. Had phone from these guys a day later confirming details of delivery then a cleverly worded pitch on insurance/ warranty cover...
Hung up immediately when answered. Similar calls from other numbers beginning 020382393**

Fraud- recieved a text message informing me I had missed a royal mail delivery and needed to rebook. Didn't think anything of it, and the webpage looked exactly like the Royal Mail website - but then it got very shady. Asked me for full name, date of birth and addres etc. Ok fine. Then informed me there was a re-delivery fee to pay (dodgy) and asked me not only for bank card details, but also for my full bank details! Stopped at that point and rang Royal Masil who told me they never charge for re-deliv

Fraud HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately. This scam has been widely reported and often targets elderly and vulnerable people.
