Rings once so that you call back at a high rate. This scam l have every week but they use a different number so blocking is pointless.

I answered the phone to get a recorded message 'from BT' saying my land line and internet were about to be disconnected. As I don't have a landline or BT internet I hung up. According to Google BT never make such calls.
Automated security message advising me that my Lloyds bank card had recently been used Which I actually just had done. But I ignored the request to 'press any key' just in case it was a scam.....who knows!?!

I thanked her profusely and asked if I could have her number in case I needed any further help. At first she said all the numbers I d need would come with the device, but I persevered and got this number from her. I said I very much looked forward to receiving the device.
