I was contacted by Katie Williams who said she was ringing on behalf of Marshall McKenzie - she didn't establish who I was or say what sort of company she represented. She launched immediately into the fact that she was going to send me some papers to sign. I said I had no idea what she was talking about and asked what sort of business she represented. AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly.
